He has served on the board of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (India Chapter) and India Merchants Chamber.
He is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Tarneja Award 2003 for the best article on fraud awarded by the Bombay Management Associations and the PM Trivedi Memorial Prize for the best feature on Standard Auditing Practice in the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society's journal.
Sarang is a Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Indian and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Sarang has over 10 years of experience as a forensic accountant and fraud investigator.
Sarang has worked across multiple industries and geographies which include India, Middle East, Singapore, Australia and Mauritius. Sarang is also an experienced speaker on fraud investigation and is a faculty member of CDIMS training programs. Sarang currently heads the international operations of CDIMS and is based out of Singapore.
